Tightening the union nut with an assembly wrench
Our recommendation
Almost every manufacturer of compression fittings also offers an installation wrench for tightening the union nuts.
In our experience, depending on the manufacturer, this installation wrench is either cheap and of poor quality and is usually worn out after tightening the second union nut.
Or the installation wrench is of very good quality and made of high-quality plastic and costs almost more than the entire installation goods and in the end you can put it on the shelf.
We therefore recommend the tension belt for couplingsup to 32mm the "small" version is sufficient, from 40mm the "large" version should be chosen. In addition to the simple, universal application, the tension belt can also be used in the kitchen and workshop after your construction project.
