Description
PP ball valve, single union nut, double hose nozzle
Ideal within a low-pressure hose system (pond, pool solar system, IBC container system, tank, canister, etc.)

Tip: A ball valve made of PP polypropylene offers advantages in terms of low weight, UV resistance and use at higher temperatures: the ideal ball valve for use under UV radiation or warmer water, such as when used on a pool solar heater in conjunction with a swimming pool or solar hose.
Important: The thread of the union nut cannot be combined with other threaded fittings and is intended exclusively for this screw connection. This thread is not standardized and differs from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Important: When the tap is shut off, only loosen the union nut when depressurized, as the ball holder is not fixed.
Polypropylene ball valve 2-fold hose nozzle
Depending on the application, a ball valve with a hose nozzle on both sides may also require a high level of UV resistance in your project if the fitting is exposed to sunlight. Polypropylene is the material of choice here, as it is UV-resistant compared to PVC-U. Due to the higher temperature range compared to PVC-U, this variant made of the plastic polypropylene is also more suitable here.
- suitable for transporting drinking water, wine, drinks and other nourishing liquids
- absolutely non-toxic, odorless and tasteless
- resistant to inorganic salts in aqueous solutions, weak organic acids and alkalis, alcohol and some oils
- very good mechanical properties against washing chemicals etc.
- protects as an electrically insulating material against electrochemical corrosion and perforation caused by stray currents
- Weather and UV-resistant
- Material: Polypropylene PPH, PPC, FV-PA
- O-ring: EPDM
- Color: Black similar to RAL 9011
- Working pressure hose nozzles: max. 6 bar at 20 °C medium water
- Temperature range: 0°C to 80°C
Would you like to disconnect a hose line and be able to regulate and interrupt the flow? Then buy the high-quality ball valve with polypropylene hose nozzle on both sides from our online store PVC-Welt.de at a very reasonable price. This makes shopping on the Internet fun.
Operate your ball valve regularly! Dissolved salts, impurities etc. stick to the ball edges or seals during the flow and form a dirt film or biofilm deposit. There is a risk that this film of dirt hardens if the valve is not operated for a long period of time and is drawn in between the ball and seal during the regulating movement, causing irreparable damage to the seal, similar to the effect when windshield wipers wipe over ice residue on the windshield. Winter storage is best carried out in a water bath, as drying out can/will lead to a hardened film forming on the ball and the sealing elements.
