Description
PP ball valve for PE pipe 2-way clamp DVGW
DVGW tested for drinking water use

Adjustable safety block
The ball of the Unidelta valves is easily accessible for inspection purposes. This is a great advantage, as any deposits that have accumulated during use can be easily removed. With a threaded safety block, the pressure is not transferred to the ball and smooth operation is maintained. The flow direction of the medium to be passed through is also no longer important, as the threaded safety block prevents it from being pushed out by the water pressure.
1. loosen the union nut. This will reveal the internal toothing. Then remove the handle from the control rod. Note that the teeth for the 20-25-32mm valves are located in the upper part (1A) and for the 40-50-63mm valves in the lower part (1B).
2. insert the toothing of the handle inside the toothing of the ball seal holder. To release, turn the inserted handle clockwise (2A + 2B).
3. remove the ball seal holder to allow access to the ball (3A + 3B).

Tightening the union nut with a special wrench

Our recommendation
Almost every manufacturer of compression fittings also offers a motorized wrench for tightening the union nuts.
In our experience, depending on the manufacturer, this installation wrench is either cheap and of poor quality and is usually worn out after the second union nut has been tightened.
Or the installation wrench is of very good quality and made of high-quality plastic and costs almost more than the entire installation goods and in the end you can put it on the shelf.
We therefore recommend the tension belt for couplings, up to 32mm the "small" version is sufficient, from 40mm the "large" version should be selected. In addition to the simple, universal application, the tension belt can also be used in the kitchen and workshop after your construction project.
PP ball valve 2-way clamp connection on both sides clamp suitable for DVGW drinking water from Unidelta
Unidelta taps are available in different connection variants. The version offered here in our webshop PVC-Welt.de has clamps on both sides to accommodate PE pipe.
Thanks to the PP polypropylene material used, there is no risk of corrosion or oxidation. The pressure resistance is PN 16 bar at 20°C. PP polypropylene is UV-resistant.
The special feature and high quality of the ball fixing is not visible at first glance. The ball, which is secured on both sides, has an adjustable safety block. This high-quality feature allows the ball seal to be adjusted using the removable handle with integrated adjusting key. With a threaded safety block, the pressure is not transferred to the ball and smooth operation is maintained. The flow direction of the medium to be passed through is also no longer important, as the threaded safety block prevents it from being pushed out by the water pressure. The ball can also be easily removed for inspection purposes, e.g. to remove deposits
The handle can be removed to secure the ball position. The opening and closing directions of the valve are marked on the handle with "OPEN" and "CLOSE". The tap has a double arrow to clearly identify the direction of flow on both sides.
